SERFA MISSION STATEMENT:

“The Southeast Regional Folk Alliance exists to reserve, promote, develop and celebrate the diverse heritage, of roots and indigenous music, dance, storytelling and related arts of the Southeastern United States.”

SERFA is the South Eastern Regional chapter of the North American Folk Music and Dance Alliance. Our goal is to provide opportunities for our members to network locally and advance the overall mission of the North American Folk Music and Dance Alliance to:

  • Increase access to needed resources for our members
  • Expand to the breadth of the folk music and dance experience for the general public.

SERFA fosters and promotes member initiatives in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
